4% Estimated Increase

The research found that installing a new boiler could add an estimated £8,000 to the value of your home. That represents an impressive 4% estimated increase for the average house price of £200,000. According to the research, more than a third (37%) of respondents are more likely to purchase a property if it recently had a new boiler or central heating system installed.

Property expert Henry Pryor added, "Improving the green credentials of a property usually pays off, such as a new boiler, cavity wall insulation or energy saving measures."
